In pursuit of the prom queen crown, Donya finds herself in a love triangle, a cappella face offs, staged promposals, cherry-popping schemes, and a web of lies. We’ve all been there. And if you can’t relate, you must’ve been cool in high school. The Virgin Queen is a campy, coming-of age high school teen story. If you liked Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, or HBO’s Sex Lives of College Girls, and the film Bottoms, then you will LOVE this web series premiering this fall!

Collaborating with the extremely talented, hilarious, and triple-threat writer, director, and lead actress, Donya Rahimi, I was involved heavily in pre-pro, production, and post-pro.
As 1st AD, I was responsible for:

Script editing and script breakdown

Scheduling the shoot dates across three weekends, a handful of weeknights, and coordinating 25+ individual full time work schedules of our cast and crew

Call sheet creation and distribution

Location scouting and pricing negotiations

Email communications and daily updates/reminders

Post-production feedback and edit suggestions
